Moodle For Parents
Northwest ISD utilizes the Moodle platform as our Learning Management System. Moodle allows our educators to make content available to our learners in real-time allowing for 24/7 access. In addition to providing resources to students, course instructors are able to engage students in interactive opportunities such as forums, quizzes, polls and assignments.
As a parent, you have the opportunity to be part of your student’s experiences through Moodle guest access. Accessing your child’s courses and content allows you to stay connected and informed about the learning taking place in the classroom. It also allow you, the parent, to support your child’s learning by accessing the specific resources and tools that are aligned with the strategies approved by our educators.
To access your child’s Moodle courses, navigate to moodle.nisdtx.org. As a guest, you will not need to enter a username or password. Simply navigate the bottom of the page and type the teacher’s last name in the search box. From the search list, select the appropriate course. Please keep in mind that you will only be able to see the content made available by the course instructor and you will not have access to individual student data.
